How do payments work?
The subscribe button takes you to a secure checkout by our payment partner Polar. Card details are never stored by this service.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel any time. Email hello@deepthought.me and we will handle it right away; the remaining period stays active until it ends.
Can I make maps without subscribing?
Yes. Reading, editing, publishing, sharing and file import are all free. Only exporting a map as a JSON, MM, PNG or Markdown file is part of Plus.
Is this different from credits for paid maps?
Yes. Credits unlock other authors' paid maps one at a time, while Plus is a subscription that opens file export. They do not replace each other.
What happens to my maps when the plan ends?
Your maps and drafts stay, and published maps remain public. Only file export returns to the Free tier.
